This introductory, supplemental course teaches the four main steps of professional audio engineering: recording, editing, mixing, and mastering. Through a series of Audacity® software projects, students learn tones and waveforms, recording studios and formats, Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) and Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), syncing audio, and many other topics relating to the field of audio engineering.
